ARE YOUR LOVED ONES IN SPIRIT TRYING TO CONTACT YOU AS YOU SLEEP?
Sometimes loved ones in spirit feel the need to get in touch and contact us directly in our dreams.
You may have had a dream in which a loved one in spirit spoke to you. Do you remember the experience vividly? Did it feel as if your loved one was actually there next to you? If so, the chances are this was much more than a dream.
Sometimes your loved ones will make a direct approach to us. This is known as spontaneous afterlife communication, and it often happens when we are struggling with our grief, finding it hard to move forward or simply going through a difficult time.
Dream visitations such as this are extremely common and it’s often because our loved one wish to reassure us that they are safe and well on the other side.
They will especially come through when they have an important message for us.
Whilst we sleep we are in an altered state of consciousness and this could make us more open to communication with loved ones.
Visitations can also occur at other times such as whilst your daydreaming or perhaps meditating.
So how can you tell the difference between a normal dream and a visitation?
First of all it would feel nothing like a normal dream. It feels very real and remains so long after you wake up.
In the dream you would be fully aware the loved one is no longer alive. During normal dreams we often think the person is still alive, until we wake up.
Often other loved ones in spirit will appear in the dream too, as if everyone is reunited.
Touching or hugging a loved one at the end of a dream.
Being taken to places familiar to both of you, such as the home that you grew up on.
It should give you great comfort to know that your loved ones are always there for you and that you can still see them in dreams.
