Love Spell and the Tarot Readings

By Umar Ahmed

The pursuit of love and happiness has been a goal of mankind since Adam and Eve set foot on this earth. All individuals attempt to attain love in once capacity or another but few succeed. The reason for this is because people are failing to observe what the cosmos tells them and instead are chasing after the wrong things. Too immersed in reason, people seek love on logical foundations. Love unfortunately is not a rational emotion. This is where concepts such as the tarot cards or palmistry begin to offer hope to people. These readings are ascribed uniquely for the individual and so keep his or her attention.

In the confusing and mysterious arenas of love, psychic readings have become very popular in trying to match people's desires and their abilities to achieve the desires. Divinations, or the attempts to find reasons behind omens and other supernatural agencies are the center of concepts of psychic readings and tarot cards. However, unlike fortune-telling, there is a formal order, or ritual involved in the performance of divinations.

The 78 set tarot cards, which originated in northern Italy over 500 years ago, have been used throughout the centuries to help foretell the fortune of people. Each of the tarot cards has a different image which is a representation of something unique about the individual's fate. To read the meaning of the cards, they are typically 'spread' or laid out in one manner or another. Some common spreads are the Celtic spread, horse-shoe, or the three card spread. Each of the cards in the three card spread for example highlights the past, present and future. All cards reveal some element of a person's life and what he or she may need to do.

The card 'The Lovers" is particularly used to read and administer what a person needs to do or can do to achieve love. In terms of interpretations, the meanings f these cards are of two sets: upright and reversed. An upright card's meaning can reflect, harmony, union or choices that need to be made based on intuition and not logic. It can also reveal a possible conflict between two paths. The reversed interpretation can reveal infidelity, disharmony or contradiction. Depending on the spread used to read the Lovers card, the meaning will be different.

Psychic readings such as those using tarot cards have impressed millions. Even renowned psychologists like Carol Jung caution mankind from trying to extract too much from science and reason and have tended to give greater credence to rather illogical forms such as through tarot cards for finding meanings in life.

Because of the mystery surrounding the ritualistic interpretations of tarot cards, it offers hope to many who are unable to find a reason for the way their lives are structured or why they are constantly unable to bring change. People do not want to hear that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Psychic readings such as through tarot cards can give hope to people by finding meaning in cards that reason would normally reject.
