Psychologically, I'd say the first real difference in these experiences is that in a lucid dream we assume "this is a dream" whereas in OBE the mental script is "this is REAL!"
But I feel there's more to it than that. I am primarily a lucid dreamer, but I have had a few experiences that honestly felt like I was outside my body - there was a coldness, and a sense that I am "far from home". also, once I was able to corroborate something I saw in an OBE after the fact.
