Astral Projection - Out Of Body Experience

Astral projection, or an out-of-body experience as most people recognize it to be called, has been around for centuries. You may have seen television shows that highlight somebody who has had an out-of-body experience due to dying for a few minutes and then leaving their body only to come back to their body. Even Hollywood has touched on the subject and created stories that seem farfetched because it involves a well-known actor portraying a character with no real substance.

There is an astral plane that is hidden within your brain. It is deeper that hypnosis but not as deep as sleep, many times we try to relax and find ourselves in a dream state before long. The astral plane allows you to separate your inner body from your physical body. It takes many years of practice and those who use yoga or meditation have a greater chance to achieve this state. Astral projection is thought to exist only for those who have fully relaxed their brain and allowed their inner selves to move into a realm where there is no physical setting.

The thought of leaving your physical body behind is usually associated with death where the soul leaves and does not return. Since the astral plane or level is subjective, one might be in a dream state but not be aware that they are in an astral level. Interpreting an astral plane is hard if someone is in a waking consciousness, they might be dreaming but don't know they are.

Some of the experiences that have defined astral projection include flying or feeling like a person was traveling up in an elevator. This gave the person the feeling of looking down on something but not being physically able to be that high to do so. Astral projection has also been associated with the occult and given levels of hell to visit for a person's dying soul, whether or not the spiritual aspects play a roll, it has been interpreted as such. One such bible verse has been mention to connect astral projection with spirituality is Ecclesiastes 12:6.

Because astral projection has been practiced by people who want to explore other realms beyond what their physical bodies can ever see, there are ways to achieve this relaxed condition. Alpha and Theta frequencies that were combined shifted the body's consciousness to allow a separation from their physical body. Inducing these types of frequencies to help with astral projection is best done through headphones. Find a quiet place and relax while listening to the sounds, this will unlock your subconscious and you will be able to leave your body.

Astral projection is also known as a paranormal or unusual experience because science cannot explain or measure its validity. If you have even spoken with someone who has had an out-of-body experience then you know that they didn't even know how it happened. Since you now know how it works, wouldn't it be great to learn how to do it for yourself?

Wow!

It is good to see so many people taking initiative and giving us a good info on 'Astral Projection'. Thanks a lot for sharing this useful information.

Astral projection can be simply defined as the separation of the human consciousness from the physical body and taking on a new form so it can explore different dimensions or realms. Some skeptics think that it is a form of delusion, but research studies have supported the idea that these experiences can be achieved through normal brain processes. It could also happen when your body losses its capacity for sensory input, especially during rest or sleep, and you retain consciousness.
